Special news for our little family… a new baby at the end of July! Evie is so excited to see the baby in Mommy’s tummy.

I’m back! I’m back! And I have lots in store for you this week. First up:
Saturday was my baby sister Ali’s bridal shower and the details were too sweet not to share. My mom’s friends did a beautiful job with gorgeous flowers (Holly Fowler
) and our favorite “shower” food: Thai Lettuce Wraps. I’m not sure how the tradition was started but if we are ever involved in giving baby or bridal showers, it’s either quiches or lettuce wraps. I made my salted caramel ice cream and Oreo sweet cream ice cream and you better believe there wasn’t any leftover to eat the rest of the weekend. (To keep my weight up, I’ll be making more.) Happy Wedding Month, Ali!
So sorry I’ve been lacking in the posting area. I’ve been traveling so much and spending every free minute with family. But, I have some fun jobs that I’ve done recently and will be posting them next week. In the meantime, here are some shots from our recent pumpkin patch date with Evie. Have a wonderful weekend and a huge thank you to all our brave soldiers who keep us free.
Here’s my bit on KSL’s Studio 5 today:
Oh and ps… Don’t be surprised if I don’t do anything clever this year for our Christmas cards. I’m serious.
I’m excited to share the news that I’ve joined the Big Leo
is my new rep in NYC and we recently finished a large commercial shoot together that included 19 two-year olds! It was right up my alley.
I’m thrilled to be with them because they have such amazingly talented artists that I’ve admired for years, including:

I cannot believe it has taken me this long to finish her room, but I finally photographed her nursery today and I think you’re really going to like it. I love every single detail about it and can’t wait to show you soon!
I love to do photo sessions spoofing ridiculous trends/photo trends/poses. (See here, here and here for my favorites I’ve concocted and shot, but previously felt they were too “controversial” for this blog
This time, I’m making fun of my mom’s “nakey” photo of the two of us when I was a babe. Isn’t Evie lucky she can recreate it with me? (Ps… we say her name Eh-vee.)
Notice my mom’s amazing mullet -which she said was called The Double 7s. Good times.
and a few more.. with clothes on.
